SAC SUMMER CAMPS

The SAC Training Academy will run for a week at a time, across five weeks over the summer, located at the Bob Lucido Fields at Covenant Park. These camps are for boys and girls aged 5-14 and are open for players of all ability.

The structure of the SAC Training Academy is based on a combination of the highest quality soccer instruction with a fun atmosphere that encourages the player’s love of the game. SAC Training Academy is a highly organized and well supervised camp environment utilizing innovative and challenging training sessions.

Players are divided into groups by age and ability with high staff-to-camper ratios for concentrated teaching. There is a strong focus on individual skills as well as a dynamic program that will advance each player tactically. Player creativity is encouraged to maintain a positive attitude toward developing their game. Daily morning sessions include training in techniques such as finishing, dribbling and ball control, while afternoon sessions concentrate on tactical development within small sided and larger groups activities.

The SAC Training Academy is directed by Aki Lake. Head counselors are licensed coaches and have many years of coaching experience.

Required Equipment
Parents are expected to provide for their child: an appropriately sized ball, a water bottle, shin guards, soccer cleats, and a lunch (if attending for a full day).

Snacks/Lunch
Half day participants should pack one snack each day.
Full day participants should pack two snacks and a full lunch each day.

Please note that each week of summer camp is considered a separate program and will require a separate registration.

All summer camp enrollment will be collected in our PlayMetrics registration system.
